About Oculo-Facial Consultants
Oculo-Facial Consultants is a subspecialty oculoplastic surgery practice founded and led by Dr. Mark S. Brown, MD. We specialize exclusively in the surgical and medical treatment of conditions affecting the eyelids, orbit (eye socket), and lacrimal (tear drainage) system.
Dr. Brown is an ASOPRS-certified oculoplastic surgeon on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, providing patients in Baldwin County and the Gulf Shores area with specialized care that previously required travel to larger metropolitan centers.
We welcome referrals from general ophthalmologists, optometrists, dermatologists, and primary care physicians throughout the region.

What to Expect
Your First Visit
During your initial consultation, Dr. Brown will perform a thorough evaluation, review your medical history, and discuss your concerns and goals. Please bring a list of your current medications and any prior surgical records.
Personalized Treatment Plan
Dr. Brown will recommend a treatment plan tailored to your specific condition — whether surgical or non-surgical. He takes time to explain all options, risks, and expected outcomes so you can make an informed decision.
Surgery & Follow-Up
Most procedures are performed at Daphne Surgery Center as outpatient surgery under local anesthesia with sedation. Post-operative follow-up visits are scheduled to monitor your recovery and results.
